As first month comes to a close, we here at Morasha would like to take the time to thank you as parents for entrusting us with your children. We are sad to see our first mothers leave, but are excited for our record breaking number of extensions and the new campers joining us for second month. We appreciate the amount of support, feedback, and general positivity that we have received from all and look forward to another wonderful month here at Morasha.
Another fast paced week was off to great start with our Machzor Alef vs. Machzor Bet basketball game – congratulations to Machzor Bet on their win! Sunday is off to a fantastic start with regular activities and shiurim. This coming week, we are proud to inform you that our campers will focus on the events of the 1967 Six Day War. We aim to teach appreciation for this miraculous event and stress how fortunate we are to visit the Old City of Yerushalayim and daven at the Kotel Ha'maaravi. For many generations, this was merely a dream, one doubted to come to fruition. We are extremely privileged to live in a time where visitation and settlement of this land are possible. How much more so, that we have a precious homeland to defend.
Ahavat Yisrael, tfilot, and education as of late have been at the forefront of our programming. We look forward to standing with Israel this Monday at the rally in New York City, doing our part to support our homeland. We are so grateful to those who have graciously donated in support of this endeavor and to the Lone Solider Center, as well. Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the week and we will continue to keep you updated on all things Morasha!
Registration is now open for Camp Morasha 2014! Applications are available under the "Register Today!" menu.
