The Camp Morasha BMP was established in 2004 to have constant learning on both the boys and the girls campuses. The Boy's and Girls Beit Midrash are in the center of their respective campuses, enabling campers of all ages to see how young men and women spend a large portion of their day learning Torah. Campers of all ages are encouraged to enter the Batei Midrash and learn or participate in the programs that go on there. The BMP participants learn most of the day both by chavruta and through various shiurim and lectures given by the Rosh BMP, members of the Morasha Ed staff, and many visiting Rebbeim and educators. Equally important to the learning that takes place is the interaction with the Morasha campers through various programs and activities. BMP is also integral to the planning of special educational activities, participating in sports with the campers, serving as counselors on days off of the regular counselors, participating in davening, zemirot, benching, Color War and various night activities.| KEY FACTS Rosh BMPs: R' Shmuel Hain & R' Gershon Turetsky Eligibility: Boys & Girls, Post High School Location: Lakewood, PA Duration: 7 1/2 Weeks (For dates, click here) Salary: Depends on specific job |

In cooperation with NCSY and the UOJCA, the Camp Morasha Yachad Program was established in the summer of 2000. Since its inception, it has truly been an enhancement to the overall Morasha experience. Morasha Yachad is an all inclusive program for over 40 campers with developmental disabilities (ages 12-21). In addition, camp Morasha provides vocational opportunities for Yachad members (22 +) throught the camp. These campers enjoy a complete camping experience with activities that include swimming, boating, sports, arts & crafts, drama, learning, and so much more together with their mainstream peers. Each day, on an individual or group basis, they participate in camp activities with other bunks and campers. Our members form special friendships within their bunk, and, more importantly, with other campers throughout the camp. Our participants have the support of trained, highly motivated staff and sleep in their own bunkhouses. Yachad summer programs filled with warmth and care, focus on socialization, fostering friendship, and the development of social skills, independence, and self-esteem within a safe, secure environment. As Yachad campers spend time with Morasha campers, everyone learns that we were all created in the image of G-d and that we all have abilities to share with each other. This program continues to be an inspiration to us all.
