We understand that a camp is only as good as its staff. Therefore, choosing the ideal staff is a top priority for Camp Morasha. We hire highly motivated counselors, athletes, educators, and camping professionals, who come to us with spirit, a commitment to children, love for camp, and the recognition that every staff member is an educator and role model to our campers. All staff are interviewed extensively and are required to attend an intensive staff orientation. Our staff receives continued guidance throughout the summer from our experienced senior staff.
We expect that our staff members are committed to offering a fun and safe experience by placing the needs of the campers first, as it is the responsibility of the staff to help make the summer a success. BEIT MIDRASH PROGRAM (BMP)
Boys BMP / Chinuch
- Open to post Shana Aleph
- Great Learning in a beautiful beit midrash on Boys Campus
- Iyun shiurim and chaburot with Rosh Beit Midrash, Rabbi Shmuel Hain
- Learning with campers who visit the BMP
- Conducting one chabura a day with Machzor Bet Boys
- Interacting with campers as a bunk counselor for several (up to 10) partial days during the summer
- Help organize BMP/camper activities
- Help create wonderful ruach in camp
- Great chevra with basketball leagues and championship caliber softball and two amazing trips
- Will receive stipend from Camp and tips from campers
Boys BMP / Waiter
- Open to post 11th grade & up
- Learning in the BMP for a majority of the day
- Serve 3 meals a day (For the first shift only)
- Help organize BMP camper/activities
- Help create the proper Ruach in camp
- Enjoy Boys' Campus facilities during any breaks
- Will receive tips for waitering
Girls BMP / Chinuch
- Open to post Shana Aleph
- Learning in the BMP for a majority of the day
- Learning with campers who visit the BMP
- Conducting one chabura a day with Machzor Bet Girls
- Working as a counselor for 10 days of the summer (will receive tips from the bunks)
- Help organize BMP/camper activities
- Help create the proper ruach in camp
- Enjoy Girls' Campus facilities during any breaks
- Will receive stipend from camp
