Ilanot 2015 began with a great interactive ice breaker: a competitive rock-paper-scissors tournament! Everyone started off as an egg. Then, as you beat the other players and advanced to higher levels, you became a chicken, then a crocodile, and finally a superman! We met our division head Miriam Finkelstein and got to know the campers from the other bunks by showing off our signature poses and sharing information about ourselves. It was fun and interesting to find out where everyone is from back home and what schools they go to. Then we went to the Mercazia for an amazing opening ceremony and concert. We are so excited for the next few days of camp!
