Sunday night we kicked off Olympics XI with our annual torch ceremony at the Coliseum! Athletes from Brazil, Canada, India and Greece competed with their squads for two exciting days, showing off their talents in athletic, aquatics, and skills and strengths, led by their fearless ambassadors. Campers shined across the fields and on the courts, competing in both individual and team challenges, from marathons and triathlons to gymnastics and arm wrestling, with something for everyone. The dining room was transformed into a tropical Amazon rainforest one day and a Brazilian soccer field the next, as the teams infused international flair and flavor into the décor and meals. We also had a blast at an amazing half-time show with a rocking concert by Simcha Leiner. as well as a fun and entertaining “Minute to Win It” competition. It was an amazing display of creativity, passion and achdut, as each country worked together to show off their skills and go for the gold, with Canada earning the most gold medals and being declared the winner.
