Morasha 2015 got off to an amazing start yesterday! We were proud to welcome a record-breaking 754 campers for the first session of the summer, in addition to 70 boys in our Yagilu wilderness program, and 70 students in our Kollel. Campers were so excited to meet their counselors and division heads, and had a blast reuniting with old friends and welcoming new bunkmates into the Morasha family.
Our opening night show featured a concert starring Lipa Schmeltzer in our brand new Mercazia Performing Arts Center. The rain outside was drowned out by the spirited sounds of campers singing and dancing to the catchy music. The high energy and excitement in the room was contagious as everyone enjoyed the concert and cheered proudly for their respective divisions— a perfect way to kick off what promises to be an incredible summer!
In addition to our regular roster of activities, we are excited to be launching a host of unique specialties this summer. From glass fusing and chesed projects, to drama workshops and video editing, and from pro basketball clinics and smoothie-making, to fishing and Morasha’s very own Political Action Committee, we are proud to offer an opportunity for every camper to shine and perfect their skills. Whether they are passionate about sports, politics, the arts, or technology, everyone can find their niche at Morasha.
Looking forward to a fantastic summer!
