Week Six 2025
Dear Friends,
Teaching citizenship to children is essential for nurturing responsible, engaged, and committed members of a community. In camp, that could mean taking the responsibility for a clean bunk and campus, fully participating in camp activities, stepping up to lead a song or program, or simply following the rules to ensure a great day at camp. Our hope is that active citizens in camp can translate into future leaders of the Jewish community.
Summer camp has always been an ideal lab for leadership. Camp staff serve as role models, guiding campers in how to lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and handle challenges with a positive attitude. Through these experiences, kids learn that leadership isn’t just about being in charge — it’s about inspiring and supporting others.
It gives us endless nachat seeing campers and staff rise to the occasion by serving as an active member of the camp community or taking leadership roles in camp wide events like Shiria and Olympics. As for Color War… well, that we’ll have to wait and see 🙂
It’s been another incredible week here at Camp Morasha — and it’s hard to believe that we are entering our final full week of camp. To watch this week’s PreShabbat video, please
